Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Joshua Callaghan earned an MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of North Carolina, Asheville. He was also the recipient of a Fulbright Grant to Nepal. His work has been exhibited at Steve Turner Contemporary, Los Angeles; Haas & Fischer Gallery, Zurich; Bank Gallery, Los Angeles; Galleria Fortes Vilaça, São Paulo; the UC Riverside Sweeney Gallery; The Guggenheim Gallery of Chapman University; and LA Louver in Los Angeles. He has also completed a series of public projects in Southern California, New York City and Taipei.
